The NanoScreener

The NanoScreener is a high specification screening Free Field and Puretone audiometer (using optional TDH39) not much larger than a mobile phone. It has a wide range of frequencies and levels and can be connected to a USB port of an approved PC for downloading test data and also charging the internal Lithium Ion battery. The NanoScreener has internal data storage for up to 1000 tests, which after downloading to the PC can be reviewed using NanoScreener software. Individual tests can also be printed out using a battery operated serial printer.

The test resultes are time/date stamped and patient details can be entered using a virtual telephone style keypad displayed on the colour screen. Letters and number are selected by using the cursor keys and enter key.

The main screen displays the current test parameters that have been set up using the relevant menus. The top line is a status line which shows current time and battery level. It also shows an indicator which is displayed when the present button is pressed.

The main menu screen shows the icons representing different functions on the Nanoscreener. This menu screen is entered by pressing the menu key on the keypad. The individual icons are selected using the four navigation keys and enter button. The sub-menus can then be selected in order to set up the necessary parameters.

The NanoScreener is ideal for use by consultants, doctors, audiologists, health visitors and other health professionals
