The MiniScreener

The Focus Research MiniScreener is a CE marked, hand held, easy to use puretone audiometer, that uses Microprocessor and DSP technology to produce a wide range of accurate frequency and level test stimuli.

The various options are selected using the custom membrane keypad and displayed on the graphics LCD.

The MiniScreener with the advanced software has contralateral masking capabilities using either NB, white noise or speech noise.

A battery backed real time clock is used to provide an accurate date/time stamp for test result printouts or storage.

Transducer outputs use standard jack sockets so that normal patch cords can be used.

Optional subject response switch.

Calibration of the MiniScreener is carried out without dismantling the unit and is PIN protected to prevent unauthorised personnel from accessing the calibration mode.

The MiniScreener can be powered by batteries, AC adaptor or from an approved PC using the USB port.

Software updates and the basic to advanced upgrade can be downloaded from the Focus Research website* to a PC, where the MiniScreener can then be programmed through the USB port, using the Focus Research MiniScreener updating software.

Test Results can be reviewed on the screen before printing on the optional serial printer, or storing for later downloading to a suitable PC using the USB port, and Focus Research software.
